Much better than the pads that came with my battery powered dual action buffer. I used the hard green pad with Car Guys C4 and 70% rubbing alcohol to strip the old wax and ceramic coating I applied before I let someone borrow my XC60. They took my car to a redneck Car Wash and didn't rinse the car or the brush. These pads and an occasional piece of 2000 wet/dry sandpaper help me get all the scratches out. Overall, this is an excellent polishing pad set. The pads perform really well for compounding, polishing, and waxing — they produce a smooth, even finish and hold up nicely under use. The only downside was that three of the pads came slightly deformed in the box, but that could easily be due to the shipper and not the product itself. I think this is a good size overall. If I could, I would have a smaller one for tight corners. Good quality and functioned well. Got a really good polish and wax. The brush was very helpful. Removed all the scratches without a problem. The cleaning solution also works well. I believe I will be able to keep these for a while. Read more
