I’ve been loyal to the Pro V1 for many years. I decided to give this a try with the massive amounts of technology going into balls these days. For me, what’s notable about the Z-Star, is that I gain about 10-15 yards off the tee, but lose roughly 5-10 yards with my irons. It’s nearly the opposite with the Pro V1. Not as much spin as I’d like, but it isn’t a terrible ball. I’d say it’s definitely worth trying versus your gamer to see what you get out of it. Srixon did a great job with the feel and texture of the actual ball. Pretty decent around the greens, however a bit firm off the face for pitches and chips. Read more
