This tablet holder is exactly what I needed. I had an old Amazon Fire tablet that my kids no longer use, and I wanted to mount it above my PC to serve as an extra screen—something I could use to quickly look things up when my computer is tied up. Installation was simple and it came with all the necessary mounting screws. Everything was pretty straightforward, and once it was up, the mount held the tablet securely without any problems. It’s been up for several days now and hasn’t budged at all, even with gravity working against it. The 360° rotation is a nice bonus for getting just the right angle. My old-ish drone is made to use a smartphone attached to the radio controller for running the app to fly it. I had planned to 3D print a new holder to accommodate my iPad Mini so my tired old eyes would have a larger display, but when I saw this mount I thought I might be able to adapt it to the existing bracket that I printed years ago. It seems to be just the ticket. If you're planning to use it for mounting a tablet to a wall, I would caution that the stem of this holder is very short, which will limit how much you can angle your device before the edge of it hits the wall. I'm building out my smart home configuration with Home Assistant. In conjunction with a tablet you can create specific dashboards to control the complicated areas of your home, like all the lights in a bar/game room. Using this to hold the tablet nice and close to the wall, but still enough to tilt the tablet, is perfect as it does allow you to remove and roam. I prefer magnet holders so I was quite pleased when I saw the ball was of a close enough size that I was able to use a magsafe magnet from another unit where the base broke. This brought back functionality and validated my need to horde electronics parts. The lack of the 5th star is only because the spring tension was pretty tight on mine. The larger the tablet, the harder it is to insert one handed. One hand holds the tablet, the other tries to pull the spring arms apart. Read more
This is an excellent mount for my tablet, great price. I had it together quickly and popped in an iPad. The rubber pads hold really well. I shook it all around with my hand and it didn't move. The ball hinge has a good amount of resistance, which keeps the tablet in place, but adjustable. The mount from arms to the back mount is 2.9". The tablet is a little bit farther back inside the arms. No instructions but very straightforward. You need to unscrew the top of the middle adapter and slide it over the ball hinge before you press the rounded part onto the ball. Read more
Nice cost-effective mount that will hold your tablet or similar item with ease. I am using it for my iPad Mini to put onto a metal fixture. I used some magnetic tape on the back of the base, and it is holding up the mount with no issues. The mount itself has a very strong adjustable clip, and my iPad mini is locked in and secure. It also has a ball joint, so you can tilt your device in a few different ways to achieve your perfect viewing angle. Read more
This mount is pretty good, but it has one flaw. It struggles to grip my ipad securely with a thicker case. Basically, if your case adds much bulk, it's gonna slip. Might be okay for slim cases though. Just a heads-up! Read more

I don't have room for a TV in my workshop, so I was able to mount this on the wall above my workbench. Now I can stream movies and TV, but more importantly I can access internet videos that are helpful to what I am working on. Read more
