Bought for my husband. They were so nice, made well, stitching was straight, nice white color and great to wear after his golf game in clubhouse. One small problem.... husband wears and 11.5 that is what I ordered and they fit perfectly in length. However...... they were so wide on him it was awful. Tied them as tight as possible and you could tell they were to big on him. ...I read the reviews, Nobody said they run wider than normal, as my husband can wear other dress shoes in an 11.5. I am the proud owner of two pairs of Stacy Adams Cap toe shoes. These shoes are magnificent; they are properly sized , the quality of the leather is exceptional and, if properly broken in before first wear will give you a shine that is military quality. Before you wear these shoes make sure that you apply at least five thin layers of polish letting each layer dry( this is an excellent chore while watching football!).Once the layers are applied, sprinkle water droplets all over the shoe then, use soft cotton to remove the droplets, using a soft circular motion; as you remove the water a great shine will begin to emerge. Repeat until you have a glossy shine. Thereafter, the shoe is ready to wear. If you are in a rush, just rub them gently with a used panty hose to restore a great shine. Read more

If you love classic shoes pick these beauties up. The Madison is nothing like other Stacy Adams shoes (many of them are great but glitzy and I have a few and enjoy wearing them). The Madison is something that Nucky Thompson would have worn in Boardwalk Empire. I understand that this shoe has been produced in pretty much the same form since the 1920's. This shoe is an old school classic, beautifully constructed with a Goodyear welt. The interior is also old school, no special gels, cookies, pads or other modern innovations just partially lined. It's the style that is so appealing, it's "retro" for sure but because it is a timeless classic this shoe style will always look good. As for comfort, they're comfortable but need a bit of breaking in. Pick up a pair and wear them with a peaked lapel, plaid suit, collar bar and a homburg. I do and they look fantastic.
