I ordered this item as my husband likes bar soap, but the soap holders always end up a total mess. While on a cruise ship, he noticed that the soap holder we were using easily drained the water and asked me if I could find him one that would do the same, so I ordered this one. It does what it's supposed to do. My only issue/critique is that the overall weight is too lite. When the bar of soap sticks to the draining plate, the stuck bar of soap pulls the draining plate off. Especially a brand new bar of soap. Hence the 3 star rating. If the dish and draining plate were both individually 3xs heavier in weight, it would and could be perfect. Read more
