I recently started only wearing Stance socks for work. They are high in cotton content (usually 80% or more). They don't go so high up to constrict my calves (they stop below my calves). And they are thicker than dress socks (I hate thin socks). I also got the 3-pack of black ones to wear for business causal or with suits. Even though Stance socks are pricier, I figure it's best to invest in high-quality, comfortable socks, than to buy cheaper ones that wear out quickly or I just throw out because they are not comfortable (and they having to buy more again).
