I recently purchased this product ie March (2025) for an original Play Station 5. Upon opening the package I noticed the excellent construction & build quality of this stand. It is made of metal & has a decent amount of weight to it which serves as a perfect replacement for the cheaper plastic stand the PS5 comes with. It was very easy to install & it also came with the correct screw for mounting it directly to the base of my PS5. After researching so many different stands with LED Lights, all sorts of bells & whistles I choose this stand for it's simplicity. This stand is also wider than the original & is a perfect addition. Very sturdy metal stand, priced just right. Stand is way more durable than the plastic ones, OEM included. I bought this for my PS5 Pro. Had no issues installing. I hand tightened the screw and seems just fine. I didn't want to risk breaking it like some of the other reviews had mentioned. Solid stand and comes highly recommended by others.

Packaging was basic and contained the stand, an additional mounting plate and the screw. No instructions came in my package. I don’t think it’s necessary tho. PS5 Pro model didn’t need the additional mounting plate and installation was just to line up the screw hole, gently rock mount side to side until divots seat and the mount is steady. Hand tighten the screw and if desired use a flat head screw driver for a more secure fit. Stand is metal and much cheaper and more readily available than the OEM stand, plus this stand is NOT chrome and chintzy looking. Very solid and steady stand for the PS5 PRO. Read more
