I just added this drawer to my Autonomous stand-up desk and I love it. Solid construction; simple and easy to install - I predrilled the holes and screwed it to the bottom of the desk. The drop down brackets are perfect for creating a shelf (4 inches in height) under the desk and on top of the drawer. My desk has a center cross bar support, but the drop down brackets permitted the drawer to hang below this and therefore further back under my desk. There is a nice mat that attaches to the top of the drawer to protect it from items you place on the shelf. The drawer is not too deep (approx. 1 3/4" to the top of the side rails, and 2" to top surface of the drawer) but as you can see, easily accommodates all the items I need/use - to include glasses cases. I have a small desk and wanted something roomy enough to fit my tablet or keyboard when I wasn’t using them. The space between the supports is less than 20in so that really limited my options and most drawers were clocking in extra small at 13in or had poor reviews. I appreciated that I could install this without the brackets and it was easy to do (I took out the drawer entirely and screwed in the base first since it’s heavy). It’s also sturdy, slides very smoothly, and it extends just about the full length of the drawer! Bonus, it’s big enough to fit BOTH my tablet and keyboard, side by side or stacked. I was looking for a drawer to add to my custom standing desk and this fit my needs. I wanted something sturdy to hold a few small items - nothing crazy. I also wanted a shelf above it to put my laptop on while hooked up to my docking station so it wasn't taking up space on my desk. There are a few different options that looked the part - some more expensive, some less. I'm happy with this one. The build quality is great and it installed very easily on my desk. The look and fit/finish are very good. The slides are robust and smooth and have a slight seating feeling when fully closed so it's not going to pop open on its own. I installed this drawer under the top of a workbench I purchased from HD. It was very easy using the supplied wood screws. Make sure your work surface is thick enough - I suggest 3/4" minimum - and mark a drill bit with tape so you don't drill your pilot holes through the work surface. In all, this install took me about 15 minutes and most of that was measuring to make sure everything was square. Installed, the drawer sits flush with the front of my workbench top when closed, and it pulls out smoothly. When open, there is about 2-1/2" covered in the back but there's no problem grabbing anything from there. You also have about 2-1/2" of space from the bottom of the drawer to the desktop. I looked at lots of options before buying this and am very satisfied with my choice. The front of the drawer does show fingerprints and other oils, but this is for my garage and isn't an issue for me. Read more

Changed from an antique wood office desk to a sit/stand electrified desk base with bamboo top. Instant benefits for my ergonomic needs. However, the sudden lack of drawers led to a missed bill payment. Got this drawer. Easy to install with 4 included phillips-head screws (drill pilot holes first), super sturdy, easy smooth movement on the drawer glides. We needed 2 people to install, however if you turn the desk upside down, 1 person could easily install. It is roomy enough for me to put my open calendar/planner that is 11x17" (17" across the front), or 2 stacks of 8.5x11" paper. I keep my bills and my planner in my center drawer and needed that back. Not enough room for pencils too, but have solved that another way. I like that the drawer is compact yet the perfect size for my need. Love that it's metal. Read more

This is not the least expensive add-on drawing on Amazon but it is a high-quality item that would be at home on any top-of-the-line workstation/desk. The drawer installs very easily - 4 screws - under a generic workstation desktop. (That said, plan on turning your desk upside down to install it. The drawer weighs enough that installing it from below the desk would be difficult.) The vendor was even kind enough to include wood screws to use to install on a generic desk, in addition to the machine screws that would be used with one of their desks. Read more

The Drawer is very well made, smooth sliding with a positive closing indent. It came well packed in a sturdy box with foam lining. Installation was simple and straight forward - It is pre-assembled and needs 4 screws to mount (included). The Drawer sides and frame are black - there are Chrome sliders that are exposed only when the drawer is open. The front of the drawer is slightly slanted/tapered which adds a clean modern look. Inside the drawer will hold/clear objects up to 2" thick. No trays or holders are included. I built a modern butcher block computer desk with square metal legs.
