I received this today and just set it up with my laptop. A couple of things to be aware of; If you are used to leaning your wrists on the desk while typing, you will not be able to do that as the device is about 2" high when it sits on the desk. If you hold it steady while raising and lowering, you can avoid the loud click and bump while it locks into place. It took a few raises up and down to avoid the whole device lifting off the desk. I would have liked to see rubber on the bottom corners instead of soft material that makes it slide around. Good quality and stability for the price. It takes some getting used to and figuring out how to do it smoothly, but I'm happy with the purchase and it will be used a lot. Read more

It wobbles back and forth when adjusted up. The knob gets stuck and is usually difficult to pull down. I was especially disappointed when I noticed the upper right hand corner was broken and cracked. Read more
The desktop converter worked great for me. It adjust to my perfect height when I want to stand. Then it let's back down to my comfortable seated position. It's not heavy and easily let's up and down. Wide enough for laptops, keyboard and or monitor. Great price and I didn't have to buy a new desk. Read more

The item is as described however I want to say that it is a little tough to adjust. I am not sure if that is just user error or the product. It has multiple levels of height which is nice. It also has a larger base than most of the ones that I looked at which allows me to have my keyboard and mouse on the stand and still have room for me to write on a note pad. Read more
