Rips Easily
This filter rips very easily on install. Says you can wash and reuse, but it’d be very difficult to take off and put back on without ripping it. Read more
You need this for the dust collection. Remember this is a shop vac!
Good Replacement. Remember this is a shop vac so we put a t-shirt on the existing air as another filter if used inside. Good Price, 5 gals does a lot. Light and stores away easily. Easy to clean. Fits good. Read more
Worked perfectly.
The spongy cover-filter when using the wet function tears easily when putting it on or taking it off, so I bought a few extra. It worked fine to allow the water through once in place. Taking it off to switch to the dry bag is easy. Read more
Read measurements carefully... This does NOT fit all Stanley's as claimed.
It is described as fitting all STANLEY 1 to 5 gallon shop vacs. It does not fit on my 4 gallon Stanley. Not even very close. Not even if I trimmed it. Too long and too large diameter They do not in the ad give an important dimension... That is the DIAMETER when wrapped onto the shop vac. The add implies this will fit all Stanley shopvacs between 1 and 5 gallons. Not so. It is described as fitting all STANLEY 1 to 5 gallon shop vacs. It does not fit on my 4 gallon Stanley. Not even very close. Not even if I trimmed it. Too long and too large diameter. And besides my vac needs a filter that's the same diameter top to bottom, and this thing is tapered. The good news is when I set up a return Amazon refunded my money and didn't even make me ship it back. Read more
