I live and die by Stanley products. The only two problems I've ever had with a Stanley product (and over the years I've probably had 50+ different products) were with the soft lunch boxes and the company replaced both products, no questions asked other than send us a pic of the problem. So I did not have any qualms paying for this jug as I knew I would have it for years to come. In fact, this is the second one I have bought so I can rotate the two and I have two of the smaller jugs as well that I also like. I use this jug every day as I work in an office but don't have access to a source for water, ice or a fridge and I literally drink water by the gallon. This jug is perfect!
