I can't believe how much I love this water bottle. I mean, it's a water bottle. For the record, I did NOT jump on the Stanley fan wagon when there was all the crazy hype about Stanley cups. I recently started replacing my plastic water bottles with stainless steel double-walled bottles and I have four requirements. I'm picky. 1. It must have a way to lock it closed in case I want to throw it in a bag. 2. It needs to have a way to carry it (loop of some sort). 3. It needs to have a decent opening for drinking (NOT a straw I have to clean)! 4. It needs to have a good threaded top I can take off to add ice to my water if I want to. This bottle is perfect! I have some bottles we got at Costco several years ago, as well as another name brand, and the mouthpiece/opening on this is just amazing! It sounds silly, but I can gulp and take big drinks much easier with this one, and I swear it keeps drinks colder longer than my other bottles. It doesn't leak, it's extremely well made (I mean, c'mon - Stanley has been making thermoses since 1913), and it looks nice (if that matters). This is hands down my favorite bottle. I wish they weren't so expensive because I really want another one! My husband wasn't used to it and his only complaint was that because the mouthpiece isn't just a round tube-like opening, you do have to make sure you drink from it straight on (not with the bottle turned sideways or you will spill water). This is a sturdy, well-made thermos that keeps liquids at the temp you wish for a very long time. I also added vinyl to the outside and it transferred and stays on well. I am sure you could etch and/or laser a design/name onto it as well. It looks and feels quality. While they are pricey they are a good value. The size is exactly right for morning coffee on the go. Keeps the hot hot and the cold cold. 24 ounces is a nice generous size but still comfortable to carry comfortably, especially with the handle. Easy to take apart and keep clean. No leaking or dripping. Sturdy as all heck, like all Stanley products. And of course, it gets compliments in the workplace. Read more

These Stanley water bottles are our favorite! The flip-up lid is great for one-hand operation. The drinking area is covered up, keeping it clean - a great design for outdoor use; if it is dropped, no problem! The carry handle easily fits 2 fingers, and it has another handle to keep it closed if you want to put it inside a bag (no leaks). Fits in cup holders in the car, on the tractor, on our bicycles. Well insulated; keeps water cold for hours. Have not tried it for hot beverages, but probably would work well for that too. Easy to clean with the wide opening on the bottle. The only downfall is that the lids are not sold separately and when the springs are shot, the only remedy is a new bottle and lid. Read more
Keeps beverages cold or hot for hours, looks great, easy to clean, and fits in the cars cup holder. Downside would be that the lid flips down when drinking but that only makes me look kind of stupid so who cares. Read more
I bought the color on clearance ($20). Love this tumbler! It's pretty, easy to clean, and the lid locks so there are no spills. Its fairly light weight - even when filled up. I take it with me daily in the car, in my volunteer work, walking, etc... It has a little metal handle that you can use to clip to your backpack or hold with your fingers. It keeps drinks cold for 24 hours!! I have opened it the next day to find ice still in it. I have also had hot drinks in it. Works like a charm! Would have one in every color, if I could afford it.
