I purposely sized up after having two let-downs with other Star Wars undies. I'm glad I did because the size 6 I purchased are **almost** the exact same size as 4t/5t in the Old Navy brand (worth the money but look for sales). My son is lean but I think other kids would still be comfortable - the elastic has a lot of give, is wide, and doesn't curl- some loose strings but no stitching has come undone yet. The colors have faded a smidge but they're still great looking. Also, they have good width on the back so his bottom is covered- not that he complains about wedgies, but it's still a pro.
