I bought 'Star Wars Outlaws for PS5' as a gift for a friend, and it was an instant hit. Everything loaded perfectly right out of the box, and the graphics are absolutely stunning—cinematic-level detail that really brings the Star Wars universe to life. Got it on sale and it made it an exceptional value. The world building and details for Star Wars is all there. The major allure for me is the beautiful detail, landscapes, and lore. The gameplay is fun and relatively progressive in how you upgrade, but it takes time. With the world hopping across planets it can sort of feel more like separate sandboxes and similar to some assassin’s creed games. It’s a lot of fun, but don’t expect perfected contentment in every mission and some details such as the jedi lore and other aspects of the Star Wars universe are missing. They got it mostly right and the key locations in the game are quite perfected. The look and sounds are next gen even the gameplay lags behind with somr tired mechanics. Read more

By far one of the best, most recent, Star Wars installments to this massive game collection. Storyline is different and draws you in, but think they cut gameplay a little short; to promote other episodes that you may purchase. It arrived well and I was able to use the cd with my PS5 VERSION1. I dont usually like film game but this just uses the star wars world with a different main characyer so its ok. I can recommend the game to rpg fans. Read more

I bought this game on sale for about $25, which is a great deal for this game. The game is a lot of fun and feels like a cross between Red Dead Redemption and Star Wars. This is a fun game with some good mechanics and if you are a Star Wars fan it's a ton of fun to play. It's not inventing anything new, but that doesn't matter. Cal Kestis and crew were likeable, these characters are not. Technically a good game, underwhelming story typical of Disney Star Wars. It is worth the current price of $30, no more than that. Read more

I waited on this one until April 2024 for a variety of reasons, mainly it’s a Ubisoft game, and they are better after the patches… The main character didn’t appeal either, but she and ND-5 ended up having a great story arc; I would play a Kay Vess game again. The game does little new, it blends uncharted and assassins creed (you have to do stealth) and has a pretty seperb space flight component. If don’t do your missions with stealth, you can lose faction ratings with the syndicates. Most importantly, it nails the atmosphere of Star Wars and blends components of all 3 trilogies. The bad… I got stuck many times trying to find the “yellow uncharted” ledges / walls. Many are hard to find and aren’t intuitive in a non linear game. I got the platinum and some of the trophies are hard, like the arcade high score. After about a 100 tries I got it in space shooter game. Key is to use the L1 bomb early and often and note some of the ships are worth 240 points, don’t miss those. Read more
