The acne patches by this brand are great. The pore strips not quite as good. They did pull some black heads out, but not as much as hoped for. The patches did leave a slight sticky residue that washed off fairly well. Easy to apply and pull off. No significant pain, but we switched to a different product for blackhead removal as these did not remove enough to justify repurchase. Read more
There is nothing more disgustingly satisfying than peeling off a piece of glued paper and looking at all the gross junk that you just ripped out of your pores. Not all strips are great and just barely give you any satisfaction, and this ain’t one of those. This is just the right size and isn’t one big rectangle that doesn’t conform to your nose. I frankly use these everywhere; on my chin, nose and forehead. They are durable and don’t break in half and get all those nasty sebaceous filaments out. I love these things and they are so much better than the Bee brand that I had to mangle the name for it to show up. Will continue to buy. Read more
I don’t know why I didn’t just stick with the name brand, but I decided to give the Starface World Lift Off Pore Strips a try and I was hugely let down. I’ve used plenty of pore strips before, so I know how they’re supposed to work. I followed the directions exactly, even tried two different methods: one after washing my face at the sink, and another right out of a steamy shower when my pores were open and ready. The strips adhered just fine and dried like they should but they didn’t pull anything out. Not even a trace. Meanwhile, the name brand always gets the job done, so I know it’s not user error. I really wanted to like these. The packaging is cute, and I was hopeful about trying something new, but unfortunately, they just didn’t deliver. If I can return them, I will. I'm kinda obsessed? I didn't think I'd end up being that person who enjoys looking at the gunk that comes out of my pores and nose, but here we are. The product needs to be applied to wet skin, and then let it sit for a bit. It will get stiff and start to have a bit of a smell (which is pretty much the only downside to me, at least), and then peel and let your inner gunk-seeking gremlin go crazy with a flashlight as you look at all the debris and little hairs that pulled off with it.
