Steamer for Cleaning Aspiron Multipurpose Portable Canister Steamer with 21 Accessories Chemical-free Steam Cleaner Carpet and Upholstery Floors

I was skeptical about all the advertised uses of this steam mop but after using it for several days (in a row! haha) after receiving it, I have to admit this thing is very versatile. It has allowed me to get my floors, shower, tub, car, dishwasher, sinks, and many other household locations gleaming clean without much use of strong chemicals. I have to say, this mop deserves its 5-stars although with a few minor concerns... lets go through the pros and cons. Pros: 1. Easy to put together-takes maybe a minute including the time to grab the screwdriver to put the handle on. Price point is very reasonable for what is provided. This machine will last a long time. The body feels a bit light, but that’s understandable cause it’s the hollow water tank, otherwise seems sturdy and well made. 2. Assembling this thing together is a cinch. It literally took me less than 5 minutes to attach all the parts, fill with distilled water, plug in, and start using. (I general hate reading manuals haha) 3. Very little use of cleaning chemicals. Each time I go over the floors I’ll spray a light floor cleaner every 8-10 feet. So I can do my living room and kitchen with about 6-7 pumps of chemical spray. I’m just anal about cleaning so that’s what I do, but in reality I’ve ready that folks will use this with no chemicals at all and I can see how that can be done successfully with this steam mop 4. It lasts a surprisingly long time per fill. I see tons of steam coming out and I keep thinking this thing will need to be refilled soon, but it just keeps going. I do the kitchen and living room on one tank. 5. Refilling the water is as easy as unscrewing the plug to the tank, pouring in distilled water, resecure the cap, and going back to mopping. 6. Cleans grout! I love that this thing was hot enough to blast through the grout in my shower. I think after taking time to cleaning the grout, I will want to use grout sealer to guard against mildew and mold and make all the work last longer. 7. Floors will dry super fast after using this steam mop. The heat and from the steam allows the water to evaporate within a few minutes so you’ll be able to go back to using each area of the house almost instantly after mopping. 8. Comes with tons of different attachments that allows you to clean a variety of areas, not just mop the floor. I was able to clean my sink, my shower, grout, my toilet, even my car with this versatile little machine. 9. It gets extremely hot, which is a great thing since that means more cleaning power. Think about how hot your iron gets when you push that steam button. 10. No sticky residue left on the floor after cleans. This means you then have to go back over with a mop again. This has to be one of the hugest pluses for me because it means I can literally clean all my floors in half the time or less. 11. Long handle allows you to reach hard to get places, especially in the shower. 12. Light -easy to carry upstairs, etc. And has a decently long cord so you don't have to keep unplugging room to room. 13. Able to use generic towels on the bottom of the mop element. This steam mop doesn’t require the use of propriety towels that must be purchased separately. The package does come with some towels but they can easily be replace with your own. This is another great plus cause it means you don’t have to stop cleaning to wait to wash the cleaning towel, you can just interchange with one of your own. Now, on to the cons, if you can really call them that. More like concerns. 1. This thing gets super hot! The steam that comes out of it provides a lot of cleaning power but it need to be used with caution. So just beware. 2. The head of the mop has a hinge that allows it to pivot left to right. I would be nice if the designed it to pivot in all directions. 3. You need to use distilled water. I think this is true of all steam mops though, so not really something specific to this model. The media could not be loaded. Today, I used the Aspiron Steam Cleaner for the first time. I used it to mop the kitchen and living room areas and I tested out its ability to clean furniture upholstery fabric and the carpet on the living room floor. This thing cleans lie magic. Due to the length of the power cord, I was able to cover a large area in a relatively short amount of time. However, when I went from the kitchen to the living room, I just unplugged it, pulled it to the next room, plugged it back in, and continued cleaned seamlessly. The rotating wheels allowed me to pull the steamer in any direction and to cover a lot of ground quickly. We had company recently, and the kitchen floor had some dirt spots on it. The steamer erased them in a hurry. Two of the kitchen chairs had grease and food stains on them, so I decided to test out the steamer’s ability to clean them as well. I was amazed at is performance. The very hot steam basically revitalized the chair’s upholstery, in the process removing the food and grease stains. To clean the chairs, I used the same floor cleaning attachment and cleaning cloth. I just picked up the steamer’s extension off the floor and started cleaning the chairs. On the carpet, I added the carpet glider over the floor cleaning attachment and cleaning cloth. I have other cleaning projects I intend to use this steamer for. I want to clean both the inside and outside of my car, including the rims. And I want to try it out on the stove and grill. If I get a chance, I will update my review; however, based upon the cleaning of the kitchen, living room and the chairs, I can conclusively say that getting this steamer was a good investment for me. It is a time saver when it comes to cleaning, and the quality of the cleaning done by this steamer is excellent. Unlike a mop where you’re continuously putting the same mop into increasingly dirty water, the intense heat of the steam is an instant sanitizer. No regrets here. Read more

Lightweight, easy to maneuver, yet when using in the bathroom & shower (we have a small room) it is a little tricky, but it does what I purchased it for. It gets deep into the crevices of where dirt builds up. You MUST wash your floor, shower, sinks, and tub first, then get to those stubborn areas. Depending on the filth, you might need to use a few times...I say this because sometimes people might think they can go a month without cleaning. It will leave residue of what you steamed out of the crevices, so be sure to do another clean. It is worth it. For smooth, easy surfaces such as the floor: vac or broom clean, then mop before using the floor steamer. I am very pleased in that the floor turned out quite nicely. The shower, tub, toilet, and sink, I followed up with microfiber cloth. Overall it cleaned the soap scum in the shower rather well. Loved how it cleaned the heat vent, my scale, around the toiler and in the corners of the floors and windows. The grout needs another go around, but it cleaned it quite well. I recommend doing grout weekly to keep up with it. Hard to clean the shelving in the shower, but overall a great tool to have on hand. Perfect? No, but it does for me what I need it to do. And not a lot of back pain in working with this unit. Read more
