These shorts are very soft! I love the vibrant color and the stretch of the fabric. They slid right up - not too tight, snug in all the right places even for me, a curvy girl. Even without a drawstring, the fit feels really good. They feel like the fabric will be moisture-wicking and breathable. My favorite feature is the undershorts. I don't feel like I'll be showing off anything I don't want to with this coverage! I feel like I can stretch and work out confidently and comfortably. They actually go down further than I thought they would - a couple inches higher than my fingertips, but I have longer arms. The outer shorts feel like a skirt and swish nicely. I love shorts like these with the extra layer. They make me feel more supported and I appreciate not having to worry about sitting wrong and showing things I don't mean to. These are very stretchy and fit true to size. I have a good bit of junk in my trunk and I didn't find them super flattering, but they are very comfortable and don't show anything no matter how I bend or turn. They feel well made with solid seams. I haven't had any issues with them showing sweat or going see through when I squat. Read more
These fit true to size and sit just below the belly button. I love the flowy nature of the top fabric while feeling secure and modest with the under layer, bike short. I will be wearing these to the gym. I may even wear them outdoors this summer during activities like going to the zoo, or park with my kids since they're so comfortable and cute. Read more
Nice shorts! I love the built in compression shorts to help keep you more covered. There are pockets on both sides and keep your phone or keys securely in place. There is a wide waistband, but no drawstring or anything, so I think I should have sized down so the shorts won’t get too loose in the waist. I love how flowy the outer shorts are and they look really cute! I’m excited to try them in the summer! They should be nice to wear over a swimsuit or working out! Read more
I love this running skort! The material is really soft and has a lot of stretch. My favorite detail is the pockets! I can put my phone in the pocket and I don’t have any fear of it escaping! And the draping of the skort fabric doesn’t make it look weird or leave a bulge. The skort looks really nice on, it’s an high quality garment, and the high waist gives enough support that I feel really confident wearing it. I love how versatile this skort is! You can work out it in, go for a walk, run errands, garden in it. It simply makes you look put together no matter what you are (or aren’t!) doing. And it stays put! These are such a flattering pair of workout shorts. I love the flowy outer layer because it gives that cute athletic skirt look, but you still have the built in liner underneath so everything feels secure and covered. The high waistband is comfortable and holds you in without feeling restrictive. It smooths nicely and does not dig in. The liner fits well and stays in place during movement, which is important for running or gym workouts. The pocket in the liner is a huge plus. It actually holds a phone snugly so it is not bouncing around while you move. That makes these really practical for walks, runs, or even just errands. The fabric feels lightweight and breathable, and the black color is classic and easy to pair with anything. These are okay in terms of the quality but I have two issues with the overall design. 1 - I really seek out high waisted bottoms with wide waistbands. While these do give that aesthetic just fine if you're only looking for the looks, they don't deliver on the comfort of that style which is my personal goal in wearing that style. I think that a proper wide waistband is made of the same material with consistent stretch throughout. That is not the case with these shorts. The majority of the waist band is highly stretchy legging type material that is not tight enough to keep the shorts on. The actual waistband structure is brought through solely by an approximately 1/4" piece of elastic threaded through the very top of the waist band piece. I find that although they are my correct size, this piece of elastic is so narrow that it cuts into my stomach uncomfortably and is exactly why I stray away from garments with such narrow waists. 2 - My second issue is mainly just aesthetic. I think the length of the inner shorts to the outer shorts is off. The inner shorts show too much, more so than they seem to in the pictures. You can shove them up but doing so is not comfortable. The inner shorts either need to be shorter or the outer shorts longer. Personally I would vote for the outer shorts longer, they're a tad short. On the pro side, I do think these shorts are well made and made with quality materials aside from the narrow elastic. I like how flowy the outer shorts are and that they are able to look relatively classy despite being so short. Read more
I like the texture of these. They are an athletic material but they do not catch on my skin even if it is dry. Simple to pull on and take off. Color is very pretty and a true navy. Wore these while gardening the other day, did a great job of protecting me from chafing while also being comfortable. Seemed breathable and nice even when gardening and it was pushing the 80s temperature wise with full sun and humidity. Overall I do like these. I am planning to order more as I love how comfy they are to walk in and I do not chafe. Read more
