I like to keep the knives I use most often in a wooden knife block. But it was expensive and takes up a lot of counter space. I keep the rest of my knives in plastic sleeves in one of these boxes. My largest 8 inch chef knife just fits diagonally with plenty of room for my other blades. Since the base of the box is clear plastic, I have no trouble finding the box containing the knives. The boxes are made of durable plastic, so I know my knives are well protected. When I need one of these knives, the latches open and close easily, but won't open inadvertently; you'll hear a definite "click" when you open and close them. All this at a reasonable price. These work well, the clasps on the end pop easy though, so stacking them usually makes the locks pop off the bottom one...this is annoying when carrying a stack as you could lose what is stored in the bottom one Read more

Wasn't sure what I was going to use these for when they arrived. Smaller than expected (my fault for not reading the details better). Turned out to be a great place to store all our family game night supplies. Sturdy and love that you can see what's in the container. Great to keep small items together. Flip handles keep lid closed and easy to open. 2 pack made this a great value. Will use the 2nd one for my charcuterie cups, forks and knives. Has many more uses.
