I would first like to say, I ordered this the first time around and they came perfect, so I bought another four pack to keep under my kids’ bunkbeds. They fit great under beds and I love the locking feature. I used those vacuum seal storage bags for things like extra bedding, pillows, and summer clothes, etc., and extra stuff, and put them into these storage containers to keep under the beds. I just needed to buy more, for kids’ Lego, their extra clothes, and toys, etc.. Unfortunately this time around, the top container was completely chipped, broken, and the pieces at the bottom of the original Sterilite box that it came shipped in. It is quite disappointing with how thin the plastic is, that the company doesn’t do more to protect the containers from getting broken during shipping - not even foam pieces or paddings. We all know how boxes are handled, yet it’s like they are asking for their products to get broken. I suppose I thought since the first time I was so lucky, I didn’t think there would be an issue the second time around. I went to make a return online, but for some reason it doesn’t let me after several attempts. I ended up calling customer service and actually speaking with a real associate - NOT a bot. Because it is a third-party I don’t know what the deal is but they don’t do returns, BUT Amazon, thankfully, is giving me a full refund to my payment method, so I can re-order if I wish to. I have wire shelving units that many use in garages that I store papergoods and household items on. The size and sturdiness when stacking make the Sterilite bins the only organizational bins I use! These fit perfectly on the wire shelves and lids do not cave in when stacking. I prefer the ClearView so I can easily see what's in each bin. These storage containers are my favorite brand. The plastic withstands the abuse of everyday life and protects against the elements and calamity. The latches make them easy to transport and keeps the lid on when you stack them. The manufacturer color-codes the latches and lids so if you have multiple sizes it's easy to sort them. And they have a nice tidy look to them once everything is stored. And the clear bottom sections make it easy to see what's inside. That makes it easy to stack and organize material in various environments. And when they latch closed, they stay closed. I use these to store 6x9 books in my publishing business. The size is perfect not to overload but holds lots of books and they are easy to carry when packing for special events. One of the bottom parts had the corner damaged. The lids are floppy. The plastic is much clearer. Fine for underbed storage that I can see what is in the container. Would like the one replaced, but not have to return the entire box as I need them right now. Read more
