Seals tightly and stacks nicely. Moths and other insects cannot get inside! One of the most useful things I have ordered from Amazon in recent memory. I did not have any issues with boxes arriving broken, and they are very sturdily built. I recommend ordering dessicant pouches to place inside of these for long-term storage. Perfect sized boxes for storing women's shoes, stationary supplies, etc. These boxes helped me to organize the things in my closet. The latches keep the box lid on tight. Note that the gasket is not silicone, and this box is water resistant, not waterproof. The circular label on the top the box was easy to remove, but Sterilite sure could make the larger label on the side of the box a little easier to remove. I have bought over 20 of these gasket boxes for our sailboat - they are excellent, air tight storage for power tools, boat parts, stationary, - anything you want to keep dry in a marine environment. They do have one flaw - the snap locks have rather small pins on each side which have broken off on several of our boxes - then you cannot latch the box closed. If Sterilite would double the pin diameter, the product would be even better. Read more
Needed a smaller gasket box for loose things. Have a collection of these aquarium blue colored gasket bins of various sizes. We live in a moist area and over the years have been purchasing these for my files and our kid’s art work and other collectible items that we want to store. Not as easy to find the size you want of these when you go shopping so took a chance as I knew this was the perfect size for small items. Please continue to sell these. Great quality and product!!!
