These were purchased a couple of years ago for my daughter. Well, both daughters started wearing them. The exterior of the boot is still in fabulous shape. The interior was the problem. The linin at the heel of both boots started to tear. Now I am talking about a pair of boots, that was worn, to school, to working nights, to going out with friends. So, they saw a lot of wear. I purchased a second set for a gift for the other daughter. Now they share the old boots, which have patinaed beautifully, and the new ones that are so much easier to get off. I really don't think they cared about how hard they were to get off unless they were in a rush to get them off in our no shoes house! They are super comfortable, the fit is true to size 8.5, the leather and quality of the boot have held up through daily wear, the sole is nice and thick, and for the money, it is a great and fashionable boot. Beautiful boots, comfortable and great quality. They run big, so size down for sure. Im usually an 8 but ill have to wear double socks to fit nicely. I will keep them because im in love with them! . Read more

These are a dupe for a luxury brand and honestly SM has moved into that arena a lot the past year. They do a good job creating a much more affordable version of an overpriced item most of would feel guilty if we scuffed the leather. Right out of the box these boots are super cute and they smell like fresh leather. The leather is supple and soft...they look much more expensive than they are honestly. They are well made from what I can tell and have experienced. The fit is true to size. SM fit has gotten better over the years but I'd suggest going with your larger size if you are in-between sizes. I wear either a 7.5 or 8 and I went with 8 like I do with most boots. The calf fits nicely but the ankle opening is tight and make them difficult to get your foot angled into the actual foot portion. I think over time the leather will relax and stretch and that will help or even using a boot stretcher just to allow a bit of give. While the boot is a pull on there are little elastic tabs allowing for some extra room. The buckles are super cute but the ones on the shaft are designed to provide extra room if loosened but the one around the ankle can be loosened a bit. Overall super cute and a great price Read more
