Proportion is off

I purchased these in a large and they fit too loose in the waist and perfect in thighs. Decided to try the medium and they are perfect in the waist but too tight in thighs. I wanted to like them because the pink tulle is a pretty color for summer but I would have to have the large altered in the top so that they fit. Why are so many women's pants being manufactured like this? So frustrating.... Read more
