Usually have problems with the fit of off-shore products, but these are good and long enough (36" x 36"). Good pockets and zippers so far. The bottoms might be too narrow for ski-boots but good for lighter winter boots for cycling. Overall good comfort that feel more like pants than ski pants. Much improved warmth over regular pants in -12 C (14 F) temperatures. Before I would wear a base layer + pants but it was too hot and sweaty. These regulate temperature much better. For waterproof, they did feel a bit damp in misty weather, but seemed to dry fast when I got inside. Read more

I bought 2 pair of these for my 6'4" husband for Christmas. I was actually surprised that they were a thick as they are. I wasnt actually looking for ski pants ... more winter workout pants...but he has worn them all winter for skiing and he raves about them every time -- so warm, so comfortable, fabulous purchase for his long legs. And my review-- so attractive and well fitting. Read more

these pants are a very nice product. Quality is obvious the fit is great . I wear these for commercial plowing and snowblowing. they fit real nice over my sweat pants when its real cold and over a good base layer for average winter temps. I wear a 44x30 pant and ordered these in a 46x30. plenty of stretch all around and perfect in the waist and length over my winter boots. Lots of pockets too. would be great as a ski pant also. I have lots of ski pants in name brands and these are better. Cant beat the price also!! Read more

Bought these for my uber-picky BF for Christmas. He's been trying a ton of higher-priced brands (OR, Patagonia, REI) and never happy. Honestly, because I think he pays so much, they have to fit so perfectly. I got him these so we can get out on our snowshoes and he can be warm. I bought them a waist size bigger (which he never does) so they fit easily over his long johns and it was great to have the choice of inseam sizes. So they fit perfectly for snowshoeing. I can see why these would not work for snowboarding or skiing because of the leg opening, but they are fine for wearing snow boots or hiking boots, like we do. They are thicker than the ones he has been looking at, but It's better to have the thing that works, vs searching forever for a unicorn!!! Quality-wise (former REI employee here) they seem solid. Lots of pockets, good zipper grips for use with gloves. He doesn't like the belt, but he can switch that out. I think the value for what you get here is solid. These will do the job for snow and precipitation that we get here in the NW. Read more

I tried a couple other brands of winter pants too thin and these are thicker fleece soft shell material should be toasty cross country skiing ore ice climbing. Nice nylon belt with snap buckle , like all the zip pockets... good fit... like the metal button instead of regular button at the waist. Not too baggy or too trim good fit . Look well made. Like the shorter inseam available Read more

I've worn these pants for over a year. I wear under hunting bibs and also under waders. I liked them early on andI bought a second pair in a different color, both fit the same so that was good. I bought my actual pant size, not upsizing or downsizing. I don't think I could get another pair of pants on under these, maybe light sweatpants or a thermal base layer. The elastic has held up well after repeated washings and hang drying, and color fast. Zippers all still work. Yes to being water repellent, yes to being wind resistant and warm. My only complaint would be that the pants need a couple more belt loops for me. It would help keep my knife pouch positioned where I like it. And the rear pockets with zippers are tight to get my man hands inside. Not deal breakers because the benefits of these pants outweigh the slight negatives. I'm considering a third pair. Read more

Great looking pair of ski pants. Good insulation for a solf shell and very comfortable. Skied with them, low 20s, windy, and stayed warm! Read more

I love that you can order them like Jeans by your waist and inseam length. Very stylish not too bulky and look more like pants than a snow suit. The sizing was right on Target and allowed me to wear a pair of jeans underneath it without any binding when I bend or move. Blocks the wind and kept me nice and warm. Read more
