Looks great: I purchased this drying rack because I wanted something that would look great on my counter and no clutter with a plastic dish drain. Dries quickly: The items dry quickly and very surprised that the stone absorbs the water. There were no water spots and I like that I can wipe it clean. Fresh look on the counter. It dries so quickly that I was amazed! The mat can be rolled to put away but I especially like that I can fold it in half if I do not have many dishes-definitely a selling point. This drying mat is extremely absorbent! My dishes are dry and so is my counter. I usually have an issue with some type of leak or runoff, but so far so good. This is a light colored mat and soaks up everything so be careful with spilled food or colored liquids because it will stain. The mat itself dries well and there is no smell or residue.
