This power station failed to charge after approximately 8 months. So why the 5 star review you ask? Well the support team from Storcube almost immediately went through some troubleshooting steps with me, and after determining that the battery had gone bad, I was issued a full refund promptly and without any drama. I would have accepted a replacement but the power station is sold out. So if you order from Storcube you can be assured that if something goes wrong, you won't be left hanging. Read more

I bought this to power my bass amplifier for performing in places with no power. Unfortunately, the AC power has so much RFI/EMI noise that it makes it unusable for this purpose, as it produces fairly loud audible noise in my amp even though the unit a few yards away. They should have designed in a robust EMI/RFI filter to ensured a more pure sine wave output. So, I had to return it. At first glance, though it appears to be a well made unit. If they fixed the RFI issue, I would probably buy it. Read more

This review is for "Solar Connectors Y Branch Parallel Adapter Cable 30A 1000V, Solar Panel Parallel Connectors, Parallel Adapter for Solar Panel (1 Pairs M/FF+F/MM)", STORCUBE Item model number SP-AC01 (ASIN B0CL94HT2X). Title and ASIN are included in the review because sometimes reviews get re-sorted and are no longer associated with the correct product. The STORCUBE solar cable shipped quickly and was packaged in a way I'd consider "overkill" in a giant cardboard box measuring 30in x 7in x 6in. Within the cardboard box the cable was retail packaged in a plastic bag and while some paper had been crumpled in there the cable still rattled around in that enormous shipping box. The STORCUBE adapter cable was longer than I'd pictured in my mind's eye. The photos show the wires as being about 1x to 2x as long as the connector pieces (2in each), so I was thinking that the adapter cables would be maybe ten inches total length. But if you look more closely at one of the later photos on the Amazon listing and you'll see that the wires are shown as being 100mm long on the single connector side and 260mm on the dual connector side, for a total of 360mm plus the length of two connectors and the "Y" in the middle. That's (360mm=14.2in) + (2in per connector)(3 connectors) = 20in. I measure the total length as 20in tip-to-tip, so it's a match to the verbal description although they look much longer than the listing's photos. I had no trouble connecting the STORCUBE cables to two 100W solar panels . I think the 20in total length is about right. The Amazon listing for the STORCUBE solar adapter cable lists the wire size confusingly as 12-10AWG. So which is it, 12AWG or 10AWG? All of the wires in the adapter cable are labeled 4mm2, and a quick Internet search shows that this size is equal to 12 AWG. For 10AWG a 6mm2 wire would be needed. Be certain to consider the COMBINED current of your two solar panels. A typical 100W panel produces around 5A at 20V, so combining two of these panels will make 10A. At this rate you'd hit the 30A max with a couple of 300W panels rated at 20v/15A each. But you'd be fine combining a couple of 400W panels rated 31v/13A as the total current would be just 26A. Know your panels and stay under 30A! The STORCUBE solar adapter seems well built and should have no trouble combining a couple of typical 100W panels (5-6A each). Read more

We have solar panels installed around our property, as well as portable solar panels that we take with us when camping, along with solar generators. These parallel Y branch connectors will be used to connect two solar panels in parallel, whether they are two of our portable panels or two of our permanent panels. Read more
