STORi 5-Compartment Plastic Organizer Ocean Mist Rectangular Divided Makeup and Vanity Storage Bin and Office Desk Caddy Scalloped

My master bathroom has no dedicated linen closet nor a medicine cabinet, so storage is at a premium--all my under-vanity storage is taken up with towels and cleaning products. I have had a makeup caddy on my vanity for eons, but I finally just got around to buying an organizer for my hair care and toiletry stuff. This is without question one of the nicest acrylic organizers I've ever seen! It is thick-walled and sturdy and has a luxe look...there is even a "wave" sort of pattern to the acrylic which dresses it up a bit. Trust me, I've had some cheap-looking acrylic organizers in the past--this is not one of those! I love that this organizer holds hair care and toiletry products securely (i.e., they aren't going to tip over) and yet they are all easily accessible, even the smaller items like deodorant and face lotion. In the 3 pictures I've provided in the customer images at the top of the product page, you can see how much this thing can hold. Just in the front four blocks, mine is currently holding: 1 can of hair spray 2 cans of hair mousse 1 bottle of cologne 1 thin canister of Clinique face lotion 2 containers of deodorant 1 shoehorn In the large back block, mine is currently holding: 4 containers of lotion (1 large Eucerin body lotion pump, 2 medium body lotions and 1 smaller face lotion) If your bathroom counter is anything like mine was before (a cluttery mess!), I highly recommend this product to bring order to your chaos! Which is a bedside organizer. It holds four remotes, notepads and sticky notes, pen and stylus, phone, lip balm, and my Kindle and Nexus. It sits right on the far side of the bed within easy reach. It's nicely made--substantial and nicely finished with rounded edges. It doesn't have that cheap "plastic" look at all, almost like glass. Besides being practical, it is part attractive and part unobtrusive. I just bought this to replace my previous version, which was identical except for having four compartments rather than five, the middle two front compartments being combined into one. Also, the vertical walls of my older one are plain where these are paneled. The two are otherwise so close that they must have come from the same manufacturer. The older one is at least five years old, maybe ten. I bought it from The Container Store, which no longer carries it. I was happy to find this one because the five compartments better suit its contents. I mention my older one because it still looks brand new, not scuffed or scratched. It's solid and stable enough that I often used the center compartment for a beverage without concern that it would topple from my bed to the floor and spill. I expect the same from this one. Received this in 2 days, love Amazon Prime, and was very impressed when I opened the box. Purchased to use on my bathroom counter to help keep things organization and was expecting another thin flimsy plastic container. I already have some of those cheap plastic flimsy ones that currently hold my lipsticks, nail polish, ect but they feel like they could easily break if lightly hit by something or even if just looked at funny. By comparison this organizer has a much heavy feel with a thicker, nicer, quality plastic, that would break easily even if you looked at it funny. I was aware of the measurements prior to purchasing but it seem bigger and more substantial than I pictured. If you have been looking at bathroom plastic organizers you may be surprised at the cost of them, I was, they are after all just clear plastic holders and nothing fancy, they are not going to change your life somehow in wonderful marvelous way. These are very inexpensive and well worth the price, that why I am back, to buy a few more. So if your unsure like I was, based on this great price alone, I would definitely recommend one or two and I don't think you will be disappointed. Sorry about the bad review, not bad product review, just bad review I was up all night and I found it difficult to explain how impressed I was with it but after all it is just clear plastic holder not marketed to alter your life in wonderful ways so I did my best. I now have a more organized counter, that pretty wonderful, and I guess it won't hurt to hold out hope that my life will change in marvelous ways, it doesn't hurt to dream. So basically Do I like it? Yes. Would I buy again? Yes. Will I attempt to write another review? Unfortunately I might try, luckily I don't think many people really read them. Arrived covered in scuffs. I am just using this for a desk drawer organizer so it doesn’t really impact me, but if I was using this as a counter organizer/display I would be pretty annoyed. I tried using some lens cleaner to get them off but it didn’t work, I’m not too worried about it but I think it would be difficult to remove if at all possible. That being said - I’m still very impressed with everything else! I was genuinely shocked by how heavy it felt and how thick the walls were, I was expecting WAY lower quality. The size is also quite a bit bigger than I imagined, but in a good way! It’s super cute and I like the iridescent quality the scalloped edge creates in the light. I did notice there is a ridge line along the bottom of the 4 smaller sections, I don’t think this will be a problem for me at all, but I could see how it could be annoying if it was in your way. Just seems a little bit odd. Overall, I’m super pleased! If it wasn’t scuffed I would give it 5 stars! I will most likely refer to this brand again if I’m in need of another organizer! Read more
