The flip flops came shrink wrapped. The rubberized soles are a little stiff but not too bad. There is a bump for arch support - which will work if your arch is in the right place, and there is a bump of a heal. I like the leather-like material on the footbed and the straps. It is not shiny - and has the look and feel of leather. It is pliable and provides enough friction for my foot to stay in place. There's a little bit of a chemical odor to them, but should dissipate quickly. I wear a size 8 1/2 and ordered 9. They were long on me from where my big toe and the next meet, but behind they were just right. My toes are a little short, so not a surprise. What was very disappointing was how wide they are. The sole is not wide and my foot fit, but the straps are so loose I could put my hand between the strap and my foot. So, the materials are nice. Construction is good. Fit does not work for me. I ordered these for when the weather warms up. The sole is solid and very well structured. I actually ended up ordering the wrong size, but they fit my sister perfectly! My sister has a small extra toe that sits on top of the others, so not every flip-flop fits her comfortably. However, because the top strap on these sits slightly higher up on the foot, they work perfectly for her. These are pretty decent quality basic flip flops. They are definitely nicer than plastic ones and the arch does definitely offer more support. (I have high arches and don’t need a lot of extra support, but in flip flops it is a comfort bonus!) They do fit a bit snug, in my opinion. I’d say I’m a 9-9.5 and these are borderline too small to me (but I didn’t want to get a 10 and have them be too big) - I’d say they fit closer to an 8.5 than a 9. They should stretch a bit with wear, however. I love the color! Overall if you’re looking for a pair of basic flip flops that look nicer than the $1 ones from Old Navy, these are it. Read more

The STQ Women's Flip Flops with Arch Support, are a great summer flip flop with actual support. They came true to size even for my wide foot and the extra support makes them much more comfortable.
