STRAP Black Bamboo Body Tape - Biodegradable Sports Body Tape - 1 ct

This is my favorite body tape. I LOVE how it’s non toxic by being made of bamboo. The black tape doesn’t leave any sticky residue but the normal skin color one does. It’s not terrible I just put lotion over the sticky part after I’m done with it and it isn’t sticky anymore. But I cut strips off and use it as mouth tape for sleeping and it lasts SO LONG. I definitely like the black over the regular ones because it doesn’t leave that residue. I also put a few patches on the back of my heels for hiking as padding because my shoes give me blisters and the tape helps tremendously. This stuff lasts you forever and it is a great price. I worry about the ingredients used for making this tape. Don't get me wrong it sticks greatly but I keep reacting to it yet with the same brands bandaids they are the only ones I can use without reacting. Just confused about how it is supposedly just as safe. Giving 4 stars because it does the job but took 1 star off because I have to deal with healing up now again and I'm really bummed about it. Great tape - it's not too sticky when it's time to remove. I tried this one and another brand at the same time on my pregnancy bump, one on the right side and one on the left, this brand was a breeze to remove. Even peeling off slowly the other one felt like I was tearing skin off or about to create a stretch mark. I'm sensitive to bandage adhesives so maybe that had something to do with my results. But this will be the tape I'll buy again when I run out. Read more

I use these for SAFELY binding my chest. I don’t have much to bind so I’m not sure how these work for everyone, but not EVER having my skin react to the adhesive is really great and I can leave it on for a couple days and even a shower or two (if my skin was clean and dry at application) Read more

says it's plastic-free, but likely still uses plastic adhesive because i had a major reaction from this. provides decent support but not if youre allergic to adhesive, for me this produced a reaction faster than typical acrylic based adhesives and lasted longer (image 4 days after removal) Read more

Strong chemical/unnatural smell, I assume it’s from the adhesive, and it makes me question how “non-toxic” it is. It functions as mouth tape, but I want an explanation as to the strong odor. Read more

Every time we use this tape it is the roughest on skin. We have used other with better results this one is by far the worst one I've bought. Read more

I use a small 1 inch piece vertically to tape my mouth semi shut at night while I sleep, to force myself to breathe through my nose. This has reduced snoring. It has helped my sleep quite a bit. While this process has little to do with the tape itself, I am glad to have a tape that isn't made from a bunch of gross chemicals that will be on my mouth. Read more
