I can’t help but get excited when I find a product that actually does what it’s supposed to do. The long bristles are soft enough to fit inside and clean the skinny straws but firm enough to expand to throughly clean the fat straws. The length completely reaches through the tallest straws and they have the flexibility to clean curved straws. They are durable and show no sign of lost bristles after many months. These work great and I absolutely love the longer length of these! They fit perfectly in my tiny, narrow, stainless steel straws, as well as the medium large straws we have. I have a Weber Performer Deluxe Charcoal Grill that has automatic ignition so that the coals can be lit without the use of lighter fluid and a match. It came with a 10-inch metal hook as an accessory, which I quickly learned was to clean out the 1/2 inch diameter tube which sends the propane from its canister to the automatic ignitor. After my grill sits idle every Winter, that hook is meant to clean out tiny cobwebs from the tube which prevent the grill from lighting. For the first time ever, the hook failed to clean out the tube and my grill would not light. I decided to try these brushes and they immediately solved the problem, reliably grabbing and pulling out very tiny debris that the hook could not. I was immediately able to grill again. These are not too flimsy and are long enough to reach where other items don't. The loop on the end makes them easier to hold onto and you could even attach something to the loop to make the brush easier to retrieve from inside the tube. The white vinyl tip on the end of each brush means that nothing gets scratched. Since these come in a 10-pack, I can see myself using these for lots of other cleaning tasks as well, such as cleaning drinking straws, flower tubes, etc..
