This Straw Shoulder Bag from YAVCOOL is exactly the right size for me. It measures 11.8" x 11.4" x 3.94" and it holds everything I need to bring with me. I love the compartments inside that keep everything organized instead of having to search for something that fell down to the bottom of the bag. There are no pockets on the outside but it has one fairly large open pocket on the inside, 2 main compartments, a zipper compartment and another pocket with a zipper. This is especially great because now all of my things have their own places and as long as I remember which pockets and compartments I put them in, I'm in good shape! It closes with a strong magnetic snap closure. As the title suggests, this bag is made of straw but not real straw - it's actually polyester with the bottom, the strap and the trim around the top of the bag a type of vinyl. It's super lightweight which is fantastic because who wants a bag that's heavy to carry around even before you put any of your things inside? I wish it had an outside pocket because I'm used to being able to stick my phone in the outside pocket of my bags so it's easy to reach when I need it. Also, I have a Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra phone and it doesn't fit in the fairly large inside pocket so not being able to put my phone on either the outside or in the inside pocket is one of the reasons I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. The other reason is that the type of vinyl material they used for the strap and bottom of the bag looks and feels cheap and it makes the whole bag look like a low quality bag. This would be a really great purse if the quality was better. This arrived sealed in plastic wrap and a cheap dust cover, and I was pretty let down when I unfolded it. The woven "straw" is very scratchy, and turns out it is just polyester. Mine also has a noticeable flaw in the weave that exposes the lining. The strap is some kind of vinyl, and not even a quality one because it is warped, as is the matching trim and looks really cheap. There is a keyring loop with a too-long chain and a fob with nothing on it... like, seriously nothing... on both sides. If I was to use this bag, I would take the keychain off and leave the loop empty. The interior of the bag is better. I like the magnetic closure and there is a zippered pouch pocket on one side, an open pocket on the other, then a large zippered pocket that separates the two sides of the purse, giving you two open compartments. The bag is quite roomy... I would say it's a medium-sized purse. I like that the inside of the bag is light khaki so you can actually see the contents. Unfortunately, that is about all I like about this bag. It's cheap quality, cheap materials, and not worth the price. Read more

It offers a versatile look for any occasion, the zipper is made of metal and very nice. The inner compartment is big and a lot nicer than first appearance may suggest. I love this straw shoulder bag. It is perfect for summer. The material quality is great and durable. It stores everything you need, even an ereader or tablet. The size and fit are great. Price is on point also. This snaps close but does have a couple zipper pockets inside. It is very stylish and I love that it has a leather type bottom and not the straw. Highly recommend. Read more

This is an amazing bag for the price! I just received it but I've already used it because the neutral palette looks great with a variety of outfits, and it's the perfect size when I'm not lugging my laptop with me (so I don't need a full tote) but I still need to carry around a lot with me that day. I took a pic of the inside, so you can see: it fits my sunglasses case, a small makeup bag, a drink, a pocket knife, my wallet, car keys, cell phone, and more, with plenty of space to spare. It doesn't feel bulky though! Nice compartments to keep everything organized. There's also enough space to CC with most protection pieces, if you choose to exercise that right (not pictured here). Note: this is advertised as "straw" and it has a straw appearance, but it feels more like a synthetic material. This is 1000% a-okay by me. I have had a heck of a time with true straw bags, even at a price point that's 20x the cost of this bag, with comfort, practicality, and durability. The synthetic material dodges all of those issues and, to me, is preferable to true straw for day-to-day use. So I found that texture a pleasant surprise, but be forewarned if you are hoping for a true straw bag! Read more
