SU-4023B 1-Gallon Evaporative Humidifier

Incredible moisture injector power!! This little dude rocks and does a great job of providing humidity to your living space. On high it will vacate 1 gallon of water in 4-5 hours. This is crazy cool (AND VERY QUITE) BUT it will have you running back and forth to the faucet way quicker than you think to refill. This is a good thing tho, I have a plastic (cleaned) gallon milk jug filled and waiting next to the machine. I use just less than 1 gallon so I don't overfill, check the floating ball. My preferred method. Seriously, this little dude is amazing, a great design (you can refill from the top right slot!! I was a little leary that it would be good enough, being so small. But this is a little work horse! I use it in the bedroom which is always 2-3 points lower than the humidity in the Livingston living room. I run it on a 1 and it last all night and produces just the right humidity for me. Two reasons I prefer this over the humidifiers it replaced: Large water tank and no white dust. This is also so quiet that I forget it is running. I sort of wish there was an "On" light! At first, I thought the light was broken until I realized it is an indicator for low water. I don't mind having to clean a filter or replace it every now and then. That's worth it not to deal with all the white dust I was breathing in & having to clean all the time. It's so easy to fill without moving. The one downside is that I can't smell the EO I put into the special compartment. I have resorted to puttint EO in a cotton pad & placing that in the compartment. It doesn't work much better. This is a fantastic humidifier, my favorite I've ever owned! And that's saying a lot, as I live in Phoenix, AZ, where it's typically bone dry, meaning I run one in our bedroom basically every night of the year. I love the fact that you can fill from the top and can't believe more units don't offer that - makes it SO much easier! I also love the fill level indicator on the front, a great little touch. It's quiet, but does a have a nice, subtle white noise quality on high, which I appreciate, as it helps me sleep. It holds enough water to last for a couple of nights (running just while sleeping) and doesn't have any annoying bright lights on it. That seems like a popular "feature" on a lot of units these days, but I can't stand them, so I'm happy this doesn't have that. The filters are pricey, and I haven't found any others than manufacturer. But they seem to last a long time and are well made. All in all, this is a great unit, and far better than ones selling for twice the price. Read more

This seems to be the only cheap evaporative humidifier on amazon and it works great. Its able to increase the humidity of my small bedroom from 30% to 50% (at 72F) after running for a full day. Itll last about a day or two on its less than 1 gallon tank. Noise is very quiet on its lowest setting and on its highest, it sounds like your in the cabin of a plane but a bit quieter. When the water level gets low, it automatically turns off with its built in float switch and turns back on when the water tank is filled. Max power draw on the highest setting is 16 watts and lowest is 7 watts. The only negative is the wicks they recommend are $12 each and they discolor and get soggy after 3 months of use. This is amazing! Super quiet and effective. It does hold just shy of a gallon of water but who cares. I bought this for my bedroom, and I’m not putting a gallon of water in the air every night. I just top it off each night and refilling is a breeze! No leaks, no moisture pooling around the device or the floors. I use it with my ceiling fan on low to evenly distribute the moisture. This item has so far worked very well. It's easy to run and to maintain. The cleaning is not to hard to do, but I would recommend cleaning 2 times a week if you have hard water. It's very quiet and has minimal light interference at night. Read more
