It was a lucky pic. My dash cam mount quit working on the windshield. So, I searched Dash Cam Mount Replacement after I searched for my brand and came up empty. I grabbed my old mount and held it up to search the available items. These things are mostly made in China and are most likely the same thing branded with different names. I saw this one and it looked like it matched. I pulled the trigger and bought it and it worked almost perfectly. For the price I wasn’t sure what to expect. But I was pleasantly surprised by how well this dash cam works. It has great picture quality and really good night vision. It’s easy to playback and the disk can be downloaded to your computer. It will hold the section recorded in the event of an accident. I only know this because I accidentally dropped it when bringing it in the house to download to my computer and it saved the event before, during and after impact. The only problem I had, and it wasn’t even much of a problem was that after about 9 months of the Florida heat the suction cup broke, but that was easily remedied when I ordered a replacement for only a few bucks I was sent a two pack. Unfortunately the YI Dash cam the i have does not have a suitable option from this group. none fit the slot. not sure if YI made two different connectors for their cameras but would seem so. mine is the night one. but the suction cup sticks very well. i just had to rig something to hold my camera. but its not working out too well. Not that it didn't slide in, it wouldn't stay. It kept falling out, too loose so I had to superglue my dash cam into it to keep it in place. I needed to install my cam, after the dealership took my original trading in my car in with mount still in place forgotten, so I ordered these fast, but needed superglue to be able to mount my camera. Since i had to superglue it in, I gave a 1 star. Read more

These are a good replacement for the mount I had for my Ape Man dash camera that failed. One of the interchangeable pieces that comes with these fits the camera directly. I'm not sure on longevity because I've only had it installed for a few weeks now. They were a great bargain to fix what needed fixing. Read more
