I’m not in love with these. There’s something about the way they look that just isn’t doing it for me. They look clunky in an unflattering way, and I don’t care for the slight upward curve at the top of the front end of the boot. There are also quality issues that preclude a positive experience with these boots. The boots are genuine suede, but they don’t have a quality look or feel to them. The faux shearling on the inside is plush and covers the entirety of the boot’s interior. The shaft opening is not made for wide calves and has zero stretch. If the circumference of your calf exceeds 16”, these will not fit. The insole feels plush and like it has cushioning. Not sure if that’s just the thick layer of faux fur or an actual padded insert. The lug sole and heel feels supportive and has good grip, while not feeling too bulky or heavy. The materials keep your feet cozy and warm and I like that the heel is high enough to keep the suede protected from the ground. The boots run true-to-size with the 8.5 I ordered fitting just right. My right boot has a defect in the top front toe seam area in that the way it was sewn of made gives the boot a weird inward curve that looks defective and is not present on the left boot. There is also a permanent dent on that boot that won’t pop out. The seam area where the shaft connects to the shoe puts a lot of pressure on the top of my foot. It is uncomfortable. I’d say for the price, I’d prefer to check out other brands that make similar style boots. Read more
