The material was soft and the cardigan looks great out of the package but for my proportions, I didn't find it very flattering. I felt a little dowdy in it, probably because I'm petite and mid-sized so it makes me appear boxier. Also I didn't like it unbuttoned, it sort of had a weird shape without being buttoned completely. Folks, I got this sweater for my wife from Amazon Vine to do a review. She is petite, so we expected that the sweater would be 'a little long' on her... So, here are the pros and cons! LOL.. PROS - ** First - this sweater is simply beautiful!!! ** Sizing - fits as expected.. The pics in the ads show a model where the sweater fits about to waist length. For my wife, who is 5'4", the 'large' size fit very well in the arms, shoulders, and bust.. It went a little lower than the waist, but is NOT an issue since my wife can wear it as a 'buttoned up sweater' or as an 'open cardigan' sweater with a blouse.. ** Construction / Quality - The sweater is constructed very well! The buttons are very nice and secured well. The 'open loop' knitting is very nice.. And - this sweater is very nicely weighted!! CONS - Only one, and I am not blaming the manufacturer or removing a star for it! ** During the packing / shipping process, the sweater's original packing must have been damaged, as the sweater arrived in a zip-lock kind of bag, inside an Amazon grey shipping bag (which was ripped badly, and then placed inside a third brown paper shipping envelope.. During this process, one of the adhesive strips on one of the envelopes got stuck to the sweater, which caused part of the fabric to get 'pulled' on the front left of the sweater.. I have attached a pic - it does not look like anything in the pic, but in reality, it is noticeable since it is on the front of the sweater.. I was going to return it for a replacement, but my wife said she thinks she could fix it with a knitting needle.. Bottom Line - Despite the issue I described, I will still give this sweater 5 stars! My wife was amazed that the sweater sells at such a fair price and was very pleased with the overall quality.. And I will say that the sweater looks very nice! She likes it so much that I will probably get her a few more in different colors! Read more

The cardigan has great quality and a lovely color, but the sizing is way off. I ordered a medium, but it fits more like an XL—very loose compared to what was advertised. If you like an oversized fit, it might work, but keep this in mind when choosing a size. Read more

The shade of red of this sweater is not one I am a fan of and it was not flattering on me. However, that does not mean it would not look good on someone else. It was slightly itchy but not too bad. It would look better in a different color than this bright red. Read more

The Sumleno Womens Open Front Button Down Sweater with Long Sleeves is made with a nice chunky knit. It's a little oversized but it's comfortable and soft. The colors are true to the photos and it came as expected. The measurements are perfect and the sleeves are just the right length to be cozy. The small is a little large for the frame that it's on but it's not overly sized or too ill fitting. It still looks good. So I would recommend this sweater for a lovely addition to a nice fall wardrobe. Read more
