There is something really nice about grabbing a dress, slipping it on, and your whole outfit is done. This dress is quite cute in person. I was a little concerned that things would show through the white fabric... and I've been pleasantly surprised that it doesn't. The fabric is not heavy or thick, and if you hold it up to the light you would swear your undies are going to glow... but they don't. Uh... maybe if you wear hot pink they might - but so far, anything I've thrown at it hasn't made an appearance to the outside world. The fabric has a nice flow to it... it's not heavy which will be great for summer or travel. It doesn't wrinkle. It did come in a vacuum sealed bag so had a few creases in it initially, but those wash out pretty easily. I wash in cool water and hang to dry as a precaution, but I think it could probably handle more aggressive washing and still be fine. It does have pockets - which of course I love because they are handy - but they do add a bit of bulk to the hips. As an apple-shaped person, that's not necessarily a great thing - but this thing is so comfy that I don't care. I like the little criss-cross accent at the front - it just gives a little something extra. I really think this dress could be dressed up or down, which makes it really versatile. At the time of my purchase it was $20, which I feel is a steal for the variety of options I think I can wear this. I'm 185 lb, 5'7" and pretty typically wear a XL in most things. This dress is stretchy and comfortable! The criss-cross design at the neck adds a little extra style. Oh, and there are pockets! I’m not sure why, but it seems hard to find pockets on dresses lately so that is an added bonus. While the pockets are great, they don’t have a lot of structure so they tend to hang out a bit if that makes sense. I’m between sizes and opted to size down for this dress. It fits perfectly. I would have had a bit more room in the larger size (obviously), but the smaller size fits just fine. As I was putting it on, I was a little worried because the top seemed a bit snug, but the rest of the dress was very flowy and isn’t clingy at all. The dress is very soft and feels great against your skin. It would be a great option for any time of year. I live where we have warm winters and I’m actually able to wear it on a warm winter day. I pulled it straight from the package and it wasn’t wrinkled at all. This tells me it would be perfect for stuffing in a vacation bag without worrying about wrinkling. I’d definitely order again! This dress ended up being even softer than I expected. It has a really comfortable feel to it, and the lightweight fabric will make it easy to wear on warm days or as a quick throw‑on when I’m heading outside. I ordered a medium, but it’s definitely roomy, so I probably could have gone with a small and still had plenty of space. One thing I really like about it is the pockets. You’d think they’d be standard by now, but so many of my dresses don’t have them, and I don’t always carry a purse. These are actually usable pockets too, not the tiny decorative kind. I really like the style and how it fits overall. It has a relaxed look, and it’s the kind of dress I can see myself wearing a lot. The price makes it even better, and I already know I’ll be picking up a couple more colors. It’s also perfect as a quick cover‑up. Maybe it's because the dress runs big or maybe it's because horizontal stripes aren't that flattering, but this dress did nothing for me when I tried it on. The criss-cross detail at the top is cute, but the rest of the dress kind of goes straight down without hugging curves. If you like something that disguises your shape, then this is fine, but I was hoping for it to be more A-line: cinched at the waist and then flares out. The material is soft but in a synthetic fabric way, so it doesn't seem like it'll be breathable, which is what I'd want on a hot day. This is cute, but it runs big. I know it’s supposed to have a slightly loose fit, but there really should be no situation where a medium is large on me because I am not a small human. ( 5’10, 160 lbs) but I easily could’ve gone down to a small in this and I think it probably would’ve still been roomy. That being said it is very cute and the fabric is super soft. And it has pockets so that’s the most important part of a dress to be honest! It should be pretty easy to care for since it’s a poly blend material. You can just toss it in the washing machine and dryer for a few minutes then hang it up and you’re good to go. I do really like how lightweight it is because it’s nice on warmer days which we will hopefully be getting in the next few weeks! Read more
