I have used Liquimat for decades - it is a great product to cover up and dry up blemishes and small red marks on your face. One only needs a very small amount applied with the tip of your finger - it dries in seconds and does not wipe off unless you use a damp cloth. Use under light foundation - or on its own. I find it is best applied when your fingers are slightly damp - and then very lightly dab it on the skin. It comes with a liquid to darken it if needed. Read more
I have been using this product since my dermatologist recommended it back in my teenage years. It is a GREAT cover up, makeup. It helps prevent breakouts while assisting in the healing of existing ones. It is a VERY good product for the very stressful teenage years. It is expensive, but only a little amount is used at a time so it does last a good while. Even though I don't use it as much, I STILL use it to this day, 35 years later!. It just doesn't make my face feel oily as other makeups do. I use it as my daily makeup choice. It also provides good sunscreen protection for my face in the summer time. I used Liquimat as a young teen years and years ago. It works as beautifully now for my teenage children as it did back then. I used this product because it worked well for my mom's acne when she was a teen. It's a wonderful product that lasts forever. A little goes a LONG way and it really helps dry out pimples while dulling any redness or irritation. If I could change one thing about Liquimat it would be to offer the product in "fair" shade for those of us that need a lighter skin tone than the medium shade it comes in. I have been using Liquimat, recommended by a Washington, DC, dermatologist, for DECADES. I've introduced several salon professionals to it and they've all been impressed. I don't know why it's not sold everywhere. It's a great substitute for foundation for people with acne-prone skin. I'm old enough now that I rarely break out anymore, but it still beats any make-up foundation I've ever tried. It's very sheer but covers scars and discoloration, evening out skin tone. I use it under translucent, oil-free powder and am often complimented on my skin (which wouldn't happen if I were without products!) The company supplies a dye additive for people with darker skin tones so users can customize the color. I just like the medium on my pale skin. Read more

I am so thankful for discovering Liquimat. I'm a 43 year old woman with hormonal acne. I have been on Retin-A, Duac, Azalex, and Spironolactone for years, but still I have at least one huge cyst on my chin at all times, and sometimes I'll have several. The cysts last for weeks and are ridiculously painful. I have been using Liquimat for about two months, and in that time have only gotten one cyst. I use the Liquimat on my entire face every morning after applying my prescription products. Liquimat can be drying, so on my oily skin - chin, nose, and forehead- I use Liquimat full strength, and I dilute it 50/50 with Cerave lotion for my dry cheeks. Besides healing and preventing breakouts, Liquimat does an excellent job of concealing. There's a learning curve for application, but once you figure out what works best, it only takes seconds to apply. Of all the products I use, I think Liquimat is the best.
