First of all, this is very attractive and functional. It does what it's supposed to do. But I was surprised, I expected a proper towel. This is more like a thick, soft bedsheet. Not bad, just not what I expected. It is perfect for a beach blanket, a picnic blanket, or to cover a lounge chair, which it does very well and is plenty big enough to do that. It is absorbent and does dry quickly, so could be used as a towel, but mostly I see it as a blanket to lie on. Sand doesn't stick to it, since it doesn't have loops like a regular towel does. That's huge, because sand on the beach blanket is not pleasant. It folds up nicely to fit in the included bag, so it's easy to just toss into the beach bag. Looks like it is very well made and will hold up to many seasons of going to the beach. I subtracted one star, not because it's not good, just that the description does not indicate, to me anyway, that it is not a standard microfiber towel, but more like a thick bedsheet. Not a bad thing, but the description should have been more accurate. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who likes to go to the beach or lay on a lounger. It's a high-quality item for that. If you are expecting a regular, terry cloth towel you will probably be disappointed. This is not a big fluffy towel. But it does have features a regular towel doesn’t have. It’s large (in area) but very compact. It would be perfect for travel. The material is soft and absorbent and although I haven’t tested this feature myself it is suppose to repel sand. Read more

Long enough for me at 5’9 but not wide at all!! Great material but it does hold sand which it’s not supposed to. But does dry rather quickly! Light weight but doesn’t fit in the carrier bag no matter how tight it is. Read more
