This is a great sun hat! I wear it when I am mowing. It keeps my head cool and shields my face from the sun. It is adjustable to fit different size heads. This hat is comfortable and not heavy on my head. I don't fold the sides up, but you can if you want to change up the look/style. I haven't washed it yet, but when I do I will let it air dry. It doesn't take long to dry when I sweat. I don't think it will shrink, but I would rather play it safe. I would recommend this hat! Read more

BEFORE PURCHASING A HAT SUCH AS THIS, I MEASURED MY HEAD. I AM AN ELDERLY LADY AND I KNOW I HAVE A SMALL HEAD OF 21 INCHES. THIS HAT FITS ME PERFECTLY. HOWEVER, ALTHOUGH IT IS ADJUSTABLE, YOU CANNOT MAKE IT BIGGER THAN THE 21 INCHES. THIS IS REALLY A CHILD SIZE HAT, DEFINITELY NOT FOR A MAN OR WOMEN WITH A THICK HEAD OF HAIR OF LARGER HEAD. This sun hat is well made. The nylon material is very lightweight and breathable. I really like the sizing adjuster on the back side of the hat as it is so easy to get the right fit. No need for tying tiny strings inside the hat band with this one! It does well for sun protection on all areas of my head and neck. Being lightweight, it could blow off easily on a windy day, but that is where the chin strap comes in handy. Just snug that strap up a bit and the hat isn't going anywhere then! It is really comfortable to wear. So much so, that sometimes I forget I even have it on due to it's being nearly weightless. I will definitely recommend this sun hat. It is well made and the price is good for a hat that seems to be quite durable. There are several nice color options to choose from. Read more
