tldr; open-knit design (pro and con for some people), flattering color block style, good sleeve length. 10/10 super cute and flattering! PROS: *Open-knit design allows for airflow without being too-cooling -- I wore this on a very windy winter day in PDX, and found that the open-knit let air come through (for good and bad outdoors) but when I was still, I was warm! This was amazing for having hot flashes, because all I had to do was open my jacket or my arms and the air could pass through without being super exposed. The texture of this sweater is soft, comfortable, and didn't pill or become loose/tight after a wash with cold/warm water. *Flattering color block -- The placement of the darker color in this block (black, for me) made the torso length look amazing. Even with the length of this being slightly on the shorter side, it's not cropped or too short, and feels lengthening to wear. *Long sleeve length -- I was very surprised at the sleeve length, which was to the knuckles and needed rolled when I drove or cooked, which is nice! I have longer arms in proportion to the rest of me, and finding a sweater with a good sleeve length is a blessing. CONS: *Open-knit design shows skin -- while the quality of the yarn used is great, I would say that the knit is a little open for a lot of people; you will absolutely need an undershirt for this, as my sternum tattoo was on full display when I first put it on! This sweater looks great! Knit isn't very tight though, lots of openings for air to get through so you are going to want to make sure you have a tank top or t-shirt underneath when you wear it. Material is reasonably thick but not overly heavy. Comfortable and classy. Fit is good/as expected when following the size reference provided. Great for dress casual events or work wear. Read more
