tldr; almost perfect in torso length, interesting faint pattern, sleeves are a good length. 8.5/10 if only it would stay down! Context: I gave this to my 66y/o mother for a birthday present. She’s a very blue-orientated person, so I wanted a slightly blue-toned- red sweater. PROS: * beautiful color — not too red or pink, this is a true berry that I would say is the color of a squished raspberry. * texture — soft, almost “slinky” and very soft. Definitely feels like a good quality sweater. My mom couldn’t believe it was from Amazon! * sleeve length — very good, mom is 5’4” with normal length arms so they hit just at the wrist, and have good elasticity. * weight — lightweight and good for layering or for those who run hot. Not a “keep you warm” sweater, but good for transition weather. CONS: * body length — the slinky feeling of the fabric translates to it wanting to ride up on your body when you raise your arms. She wears an undershirt anyway so it won’t be an issue but for some this could be. * drying — while the washing was very easy with no issues, some might find the line-dry it requires to be hard/impossible depending on the type of place you wash in. I prefer a bit of ease in my clothes, so I tend to wear things a tiny bit over-sized. I'm a true XL, and this sweater runs just a touch smaller than I generally prefer to wear my clothes. This sweater, though is a nice lightweight sweater than can be worn solo or over a cami. It layers nicely with a chunky blazer for extra warmth, or looks cute over top of dress pants or jeans. It's simple but elevated & looks great on its own or layered with other accessories. The color is muted but rich and looks great for fall and early winter. It's soft with a bit of stretch.
