I love this dress, but it's also frustrating. I'm 5 ft 9 165 lb and I believe I got a large. While it fits the upstairs perfectly, when most dresses don't (38 EE), but it's too short for me to wear to work without leggings. I'll wear it with suspenders stockings and panties if I'm out on a hot date (let's hope), but for daily wear, there has to be leggings or jeans underneath for me personally. I tried a few belts to see if that would help with no luck. It did start some minor fraying after only two outings, but I can shave that off and I was probably too hard on it. Wasn’t really a fan of this sweater dress, the material is pretty thin and if stretched is slightly see-through. The color is really vibrant though and the fit is true to size. The style is really cute and you could definitely get away with wearing it as just a sweater over a pair of leggings. I do like the sweater and you could probably wear a shirt under it and it would be fine. Read more

tldr; good weight for layering, not itchy material, good stretch at the cost of being shaggy and prone to riding up. 8/10 with some modifications it would be a killer wardrobe addition! PROS: * Medium weight fabric — this dress is a very versatile piece, as it’s light enough to be worn in the fall/spring without layers. If you layer it up, like with tights and a tank/bodysuit under it, it goes into winter easily. * Not itchy, scratchy, retains shape — this material is soft, a knitted fabric without the bogging down of a heavy weight, it retains it’s shape when stretched out even without washing. CONS: * Mini length is more micro at times — I noticed when wearing it (with shorts under) that it had a tendency to pull/roll up at the lowest hem, making the length ride up and ultimately turn it from a cute mini to a maybe scandalous micro skirt. * Easily snagged on EVERYTHING — I’m not exaggerating when I say it snags on literally anything. Belts, rings, necklaces, earrings, the sharp ends of store shelves… I’ve had to tactically cut runs and loose threads off this, and now it’s only for brief uses. Read more
