I like this that it comes LED lights where you can change the light of the color it’s good that you can adjust the brightness you can really brighten up or you can lower the light so it’s going to be a little darker in the room, which is good. It is easy to use, but I still have to pee figure out some functions which I did not yet overall I like it so the only thing is that I would say that timing is so once you choose the timing like for example, for 12 hours, it just stayed as an a.m.. I just couldn’t turn it to the PM when it was a nighttime. I have to figure that out yet but other than that it’s good I like the functionality so yeah so it does actually say that it is a sunrise alarm clock and there isn’t actually an alarm for you to set it up, which is good if you know you don’t trust your phone or your phone died which is you know this one is good for you to have an alarm. This is a great clock. The time display can be turned down low enough that it doesn't disturb my sleeping, or it can be turned off completely. I use it by waking up to the light with the sound as backup, setting the sound 15 minutes later than the light comes on. There is a selection of many alarm sounds, including much gentler sounds than a standard blaring alarm. The reason I've deducted a star is because the USB power cable that is supplied is very short to the point of being unusable for the purpose unless you position the clock right at an outlet. Great way to wake up each morning. The light is soft to start and then goes to bright slowly. It is a good size and weight. Once you understand the directions, the features are amazing. This is an "acceptable" sunrise alarm, but it is flawed. If you want a basic sunrise alarm that you are able to plug in, this is fine. The sunrise setting lets gives you some control of the duration and intensity of the brightness. You are able to select a few sounds to wake up to. My old one had 2 different alarms so you could have a different one for Monday through Friday than you do on Saturday and Sunday; I did not realize how nice that was. This alarm clock has 1 alarm that will go off daily. The issues: 1. all the water sounds are available for "sleep" only and cannot be used to wake you up. You can choose from birds and some music clips. The music is badly clipped so every 20 seconds or so, you can definitely tell that the music is repeating. 2. I decided to travel with this clock and opted to use the batteries rather than take the cord. I put fresh batteries in then unplugged the clock. The display went blank. I was not sure if it turned the display off while on battery power, but it seems that the batteries do not work at all. You MUST use the cord and now I have to reset the clock. 3. If you turn off the alarm after the sunrise has come on, but before the music plays, the alarm will sound again at the time the music scheduled to turn on. Essentially, you set the time for the sunrise and it acts as a different alarm for the sound. Just something to be aware of it you intend to turn off the alarm before the sound in order to not disturb someone else.... ** Seller reached out to offer a refund. I had high hopes for this based on other reviews, however this cheaper model is cheap for a reason and you get what you pay for. There is no "sunrise" like other models. The light just comes on. No gradient changing of color or brightness to simulate sunrise. Just off to on. You cannot adjust the 9-minute snooze button and I'm a 5-minute snoozer. The sound quality is poor. The fan sound reminds me of my neighbors idling truck. It feels and looks cheap in my room. Using 2 properly installed brand new triple A batteries - this machine doesn't work at all unless it's plugged in with power. So if the power goes out, it just won't work. Two stars because this is probably adequate for a young childs room - they might like the lights and its cheap enough not to care of broken - but I do not recommend for adults. I'm going to return it and buy a higher quality option. Read more
