Finally writing a review because I’ve officially had this lamp for about 2 years now. I used it for a bit in the beginning and then put it away for a few months. So haven’t been using it for the entire time. But I’ve now started using it again in my room and now for content creation over the past year in the background. First of all my favorite part are the legs, I like that they are flexible cause I ended up folding them around to grip onto my upholstered bedframe, and it grips perfect. The head is also on a ball joint so it’s easy to move around and is pretty sturdy as long as the legs are spread well to stand on a table. It doesn’t have a remote which is fine cause it’s still easy to reach and turn on when I want and I like the way I can change the colors and put it to transition on its own if I want. I’m going to be buying a second one for my living room so I don’t have to be moving it back and forth from my bedroom. Def recommend! It’s held up and I’ve had no complications! This is a very cool projector. It displays a circle of light which will outline the edges and the things in front of it with other colors. For example, if the light is a light purple, the outlines of everything will be blue and red. Great California/moody/indie effect. My only feedback is that it really gets hot after a while, so I wouldn't leave it on all night. Also, the tripod is a little lightweight for the top-heavy orb...I can easily see it tipping over. I can see it bc it happens to me all the time. There is a controller built into the cord. You can turn it off and on, change the color and brightness of the light. It's a usb cord end, so make sure you have a usb connector to a power source. Read more
An amazing addition to my place. This light is beautiful with an array of colors. I love that it gives good mood lighting while still giving useful bright light. I use it for more of a background, like against the wall, and it's exactly what I needed. I love the ability to use the app to change the color and brightness. This sunset projection lamp is way more powerful than I expected for the price. The colors are vivid, rich, and create a gorgeous gradient on the wall. When paired with plants or other objects, the shadows and glow look amazing - perfect for room ambiance, photos, or just relaxing. I love that it comes with both a remote and an app. The remote works great, and the app gives you more customization over colors and brightness. It’s not the most modern-looking app, but it functions well and gets the job done. Rotation is smooth, the build feels sturdy, and it’s easy to adjust. My only minor complaint is that it doesn’t seem to remember the last color/brightness setting once turned off, so I have to reselect it every time. Also, the cord could be a little longer depending on your setup. Overall, this is an awesome little light that delivers way more than expected. Has a problem where it overheats, and then shuts itself off. I wanted to have it be a lighting option at a party but it turned off about 2 hours in. It wasn’t a permanent problem, and I later was able to turn it back on, but it was kind of annoying. But it is super pretty and cheap, just maybe don’t keep it on for too long. I also don’t love that the remote is attached to the cord, but the app helps with that- IF the app actually works, which it frequently doesn’t. Read more
