These cherry tomatoes are some of the best I've ever eaten, and that includes the dozens of tomato varieties I've grown at home over the last 20 years. I'm a devoted Sungold lover, but for a true red cherry tomato flavor (instead of the fruitiness of a Sungold), these are king. They're about an inch long, oblong/grape tomato shaped, and although the skins are a bit on the thicker side, the sweet, juicy, fleshy interior more than makes up for that. They're great for eating out of hand as a snack, and also incredible sliced in half and used in salads, on toast, served with mozzarella and olive oil, mixed together with cucumbers, etc., etc. I haven't tried cooking with them yet, but since I'm not the biggest fan of cooked tomatoes, I'm happy to continue eating them raw in dozens of ways. I loved them so much that after buying my first container, I immediately turned around and bought 3 more. After sharing them with a relative, they liked them so much that I had to send them home with a container. And since they're not crazy expensive for a box, I'm happy to do that. Now, I would caution you against buying these from Amazon, only because out of the 4 boxes I bought, 2 of them had several dried, wrinkly-looking tomatoes, and started to grow mold within a day of receipt. That just shouldn't happen. Thankfully, Amazon refunded me for the 2 boxes that weren't so fresh, but if you have these available from a grocery store nearby or somewhere where you can actually check the freshness first, it'd probably be a safer bet to get them elsewhere. My other favorite store-bought tomato are Kumatos and these truly rival those, being even sweeter and more portable, but they're a bit less complex in flavor (black tomatoes tend to have a really unique flavor profile that I enjoy a lot). I'll definitely still buy Kumatos, but I'm happy to be able to add another delicious tomato to my culinary repertoire. Read more

Wonderful tomatoes. I eat fresh tomatoes of some type every single day. They are my favorite food and i never eat a meal w/o them. These sugar bomb grape tomatoes make a great snack too. They are large firm bright red grape tomatoes with the perfect amount of squish when you bite into them. They come on a short section of tomato vine and you can smell the tomato patch when you pull one off. The packaging is sturdy to avoid mashing. It is easy to open even with arthritic hands, and conveniently recyclable which is very important to me. I have been getting these tomatoes from amazon fresh. I have had no issues with the quality whatsoever. I will continue to order these tomatoes going forward. Read more
