Excellent quality stitching and materials
I've been using this backpack for months now and it is very sturdy & well-made, and has very high quality stitching and materials. The shoulder padding works nicely. The side pouches for holding water bottles are perfect for traditional single serve bottles of water. It is not big enough for a large thermos-type water containers. I bet I could slide my little umbrella in it as well. It's very handy. The exterior pouch is large and very utilitarian. It doesn't have a bunch of smaller dividers and zippers, which I like. I just dump my small stuff in there. I cannot comment on the laptop sleeve part of the interior as I have not used it for that purpose. But I do find the pocket useful for other things. I can easily fit a two inch binder into the main compartment sideways. (Two inch is pretty large, not your standard size binder.) I've never tried putting two in there, but I bet it they would fit.
