We live in the country on 5 acres where there are no street lights, and the only lighting at night is the moon. You can't imagine how dark it can be at night until you can't even see your hand in front of your face. Most recently, I was driving home after dark and could barely see my house to get home. Since then, I have been trying a number of solar lights to light up our property, and found these lights. Of the solar lights we have tried, these are the brightest. The design looks very pretty and they are super simple to install. I love that the functionality offers using either warm or cool lighting, but the cool lighting is brighter and works best for our areas. They are supposed to be water resistant, but I have not had them long enough at this point to vouch for this claim. Since this package supplies 8 of these lights, I believe this is a good value since they are solar powered. I don't know how long the charge will last, but my test light is still going strong after two cloudy days. Since we have a number of areas that need pathway lighting, we will definitely be purchasing more of these lights and would recommend them if you need bright pathway lighting. UPDATE 01/31/26: We ordered 2 8-packs of these lights, and, of the 16 lights, 2 of them suddenly would not work in the cool white mode. One of the lights quit completely, and the other quit after a period of blinking. Of course, the return period was past by the time this happened, but these lights have a 1 year warranty. I contacted the seller, and was pleasantly surprised that they replaced the 2 defective lights, no questions asked, and I didn't have to return the defective lights. I know that any product can be defective, but it is so very nice when a seller really stands behind what they sell. I would be confident in buying from this seller again. After returning another set of lights that didn’t work out, I bought these with high hopes — and they absolutely delivered. I set them up around my bird feeders so I can see the area at night, and it’s been such a joy. We get a lot of wildlife visiting the feeders (and the ground below), and now I can comfortably watch everything from my bedroom window. When they say these lights last 10–12 hours, they really mean it. They turn on at dusk and are still shining brightly the next morning when I wake up to make coffee. The brightness is excellent without being harsh. I also love that there are two lighting options: cool and warm. The cool setting is a bit brighter, but the warm light gives off more than enough illumination for nighttime viewing, which is the one I prefer. These lights are excellent! I replaced a hodgepodge of older different kinds of light that were just past their prime and I was amazed at how good these new ones are. A couple of them that line my sidewalk won't be in direct sunlight until summertime, but they seem to get some recharge regardless. We just went through a couple of cloudy days and they still shone brightly in the evening. I think the key is that the small solar recharge panel on top of the light is much larger than the old lights. Plus they can be switched from a cool 5000k light to a daylight 2700k. The lights are bright and they look fantastic in the garden. First order 1 light did not work, but the company replied back how to check the problem with the light immediately. I first gave them a 3 but now 5 star for the company response. The lights are very nice and I bought another set of lights to light the front walk way. I recommend these lights for everyone. I replaced a cheap set of solar lights with a less cheap set. I ended up ordering two sets of 8 lights, with 12 along the front walkway and four around the back yard. I like the option to switch from a cool blue light to a warm red. The red white light matches the rest of the house better, but I can't wait to switch to the blue white when it snows. Half a day charging on the first day and the lights were very bright after dusk. I also like the option to use the extra pole sections to raise the lights up higher, although I chose not to.
