I purchased this for my 92 year old mother, it works well for her. She is very hard of hearing in one ear, which often makes it difficult to carry on a conversation without having to raise your voice in order for her to hear. When wearing the headphones I can talk in a normal voice and she is able to hear, and understand, everything I'm saying. I also make sure to bring it to all of her doctor appointments so that she can hear the questions the doctors and nurses ask, and hear what the doctor says. This device has a rechargable battery and you can use disposable batteries too. It is also very easy for her to use, just slip on the headphones, turn on the device, and adjust the volume based on the situation. Read more
