Material is somewhat thin polyester, lightweight for summer but not cooling like cotton, I don't want to get sweaty in them lol. Personally I really like the colors and pattern I chose, they are earthy, bohemian, and I like the stretch with the wider leg, their fluidity will work nice with a longer fall sweater I think, in fact I wished I sized up for more of a fluid look. So though I bought these thinking "summer" I see them more as attractive easy-going fall pants now (not winter, not thick enough imo unless worn with tights underneath). At 5'5' the length was perfect to wear with my platform clogs, which these pants look great with. Sometimes Amazon recommends a size, and I go with that when there’s no size chart. But, after trusting the algorithm twice—to bad results—I’m starting to think that Amazon confuses my size with my husband’s size, as I buy many of his clothes. The system recommended an extra large and I would do better in a large. But I’m tall and probably could’ve made the extra large work, but it just wasn’t modifiable enough. And really I don’t see how it has a shape that is flattering to most people. Since I didn’t have the right size, I’m given a rating that is the current average, three stars. I really wanted to like these pants like the cut of them is nice and they could be reasonably attractive I suppose... But they're way too tight along the waist. You're definitely going to need to order a size up or maybe even two sizes up. The shipping on this one took a while and I actually lost about 15 lb between ordering these and actually being able to try them on and they were still too small.
