Y'all I wish I had gotten a before picture, but his nails had gotten so long that they were catching on each other. Joey is a 17 lb Chihuahua and very high strung. He would act like you were trying to kill him and we never could clip his nails safely. They were finally so long I was desperate to try anything. This thing is amazing. It still took 2 of us, one to clip and one to position the hammock and hold the plate of peanut butter, but we got every single nail. Front and back. It is a freaking miracle. The biggest thing you need to know: there is no support for the front of the dog’s body. This is a major design flaw, and prevents it from holding them stably. All in all, I was able to clip my dogs nails, which is all I wanted. He is extremely resistant and has a freak out about nail clipping. This subdued him at first. Once he figured it out, the lack of support for the neck made it easy for him to escape. He is 50 lbs, a muscular medium dog on the smaller height side. It comes with nail clippers which are actually pretty decent! I only tried them on my smaller dog because I’m not sure they’d work for a large dog. They are amazing for my smaller dog! It’s just funny since the sling is what I ACTUALLY wanted to work. But all in all, it did what I needed. I’m hoping it works next time, but maybe not since my dog figured it out. Read more

This item was a great fit for my 45lb pitty and held her up very well. I do however wish the straps were a bit longer, because with the shortness of the straps it’s pretty much impossible to hang her up anywhere other than a closet. And getting a pit bull elevated about 5 feet off the ground while in a hammock in a very small space is not the easiest 😂 overall it has been a very helpful product and I will happily continue to use it.
