They fit tables or desks with edges from 0.8 to 2.1 inches thick, so my one-inch tabletop was an easy, level fit. The large ergonomic molded plastic twist handles on the C-clamps make tightening them a breeze, and once they’re secure, they’re not going anywhere. Installing and removing it is quick and straightforward. Once in place, it extends and locks at 90 degrees, and when you’re done, lifting the spring-loaded catches—cleverly designed with release levers tucked under the attachment arms to prevent accidental bumps—lets you fold it down. Easy to install, looks ok. The material is a little bit cheap and looks off next to my desk. Also the two sections/halves it's made of ended up not lining up together, so it looks crooked when installed. Doesn't affect functionality as such, but looks cheap. Read more

Excellent extender table. well made and extremely sturdy. Using it with my Mac and hub, it fits perfectly, no odd angles and zero wobble. It also has the ability to fold down, which takes unclasping two locks while pushing down, I highly doubt it would ever fold down accidentally. All in all a very strong table, they claim it can hold 33lbs, I believe it. It was also a breeze to assemble and put together, took all of 10 minutes - if that much. This shelf is surprisingly sturdy, locking in the "up" position tightly. I've put things on it weighing about 15 pounds, and it's held up just fine. There really isn't a lot to say about a folding shelf; it does what it says on the box, has a nice fakey-carbon-fiber finish, and seems well made. I hesitated to spend 30 bucks on this thing, but I'm glad I did. When the postman handed it to me, I was shocked at how heavy it was. This thing is a brute! Heavy duty hardware, real carbon fiber surface, very attractive. And it does the job. I think the tabletop that it's clamped to would break before this desk extender will, and the quick release fold down feature is sturdy and perfect.
